At Home Veterinary | Prescriptions

Dr. Gransky will be able to provide many routine medications at the time of the visit. Additional medications are available through At Home Veterinary’s prescription service, which provides free home delivery of your pet’s prescriptions.

For prescription requests, please call us at either 508-653-4300 or 617-753-9300. When leaving a message, please provide the following information:

· Your name and phone number

· Your pet’s name

· The medication strength and quantity desired

· How soon you need the medication

Most medications are available in a one-month supply, while Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventatives are available in up to a one-year supply.

Automatic refills. For medications that your pet takes regularly, we are happy to send refills automatically. This free service is for your convenience and can be stopped or modified at any time at your discretion. Please let us know if you are interested in setting up automatic refills for any or all of your pet’s medications.

Shipping. We offer free shipping on all medications. In most cases your medication will ship by the next business day after we receive your order, and when possible we will ship it the same day. The U.S. Postal Service often delivers the packages the next day because we are shipping locally, but delivery times may vary.

If you need guaranteed overnight delivery, we can ship either FedEx or U.S.P.S. Express Mail for a $25.00 fee. In some circumstances we may be able to provide same-day or next-day hand delivery. When available, the fee for this service will be $35.00.

Payment. We can charge your Mastercard or Visa when we take your request and send your receipt with the order. For automatic refills, we can keep your credit card information on file and bill you automatically.

Occasionally we will prescribe a medication or a therapeutic diet that we do not normally stock. In that case we may refer you to VetCentric, an online veterinary pharmacy, to fill your order. If necessary, we will explain to you how to use this service. As with our own prescription service, most shipping is free but VetCentric’s own rates apply. The VetCentric prescriptions and refills that Dr. Gransky writes for your pet will be waiting for you in your “medicine cabinet” at VetCentric.
